The end of the year has a special quality of its own. For a mere moment, it seems, time pauses long enough for us to say, Whew. This year's almost over, and I'm glad a new year is beginning!
Many of us tend to look backward, remembering the things we wish hadn't happened. We want the year to go away, and that puts us in the position of hoping for a better year ahead.
Starting a new year excites me. I'm the type of person who loves achieving goals, no matter how big, hairy or audacious. Yes, total Type A personality, direct and focused, and a strategist at heart. I'm also an optimistic dreamer who cherishes experiences and values potential, especially when exploring content and design possibilities.

As I reflect on the year I'm packing away along with the Christmas decorations, I realize how thankful I am for the best and worst of 2022.
Letting Go
It was a year of making difficult decisions, like letting go of commitments that no longer served my (or the other person's) goals. In 2022, I examined which activities required the most significant investment of my time with the most negligible ROI. I let go of the unsustainable and focused on reinvention. Suddenly, new opportunities arose, like embracing software programs that allowed me to devise more flex time and helped me better manage my obligations.
Another thing happened as well. By letting go, I found myself loosening up. I had more time to collaborate with other industry professionals, more time to dream and more time to work with new clients.

I'm incredibly thankful for the opportunity to support clients who want to achieve big dreams. The best of 2022 includes putting together a Broad Nib Creek Studio team of developers, designers, and writers who take care of our clients' needs from inception to execution. We even rebranded our website.
Delivering Content and Design in 2023
Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and cultures. We take the time to learn about their goals and produce content that supports them, including blogs, videos, ebooks, technical writing, pitch decks, and more. Unlike those content mills you've heard about, we focus on learning about you and your style preferences. You're not stuck using our voice; we become yours.
And that's my goal for 2023: to position our studio as your indispensable choice for content and design.
The poet e. e. cummings once said, "It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are."
Let's make the journey together.
